Introduction

Serving as a full-time community pathologist in a core group of three physicians, I participate fully in both anatomic and clinical pathology duties, with special interest in cytopathology, and overseeing hematopathology and microbiology.  My duties include full service surgical pathology and cytopathology, with performance of fine needle aspiration and bone marrow biopsies.   I also assist in rapid interpretation of specimens procured from other specialties (radiology-guided percutaneous aspiration and biopsies, trans-bronchial/endobronchial biopsies, and pancreatobiliary sampling).
