Daniel W. Abbott, M.D.
Year of Graduation:
I moved to Milwaukee in 2009 to attend medical school at MCW and am delighted to be able to stay here to complete my graduate medical education. It has been a privilege to be a part of this program for the past couple of years. I have enjoyed working with our faculty, residents, and staff, who are all great people and are committed to the quality of our program as well as the well-being of everyone who is a part of it. Furthermore, Milwaukee has been a great place to live with plenty of culture, green spaces, and affordable housing.
I grew up in Charlottesville, VA and received my Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA in 2007 where I majored in biology and minored in music. I taught piano in the Richmond area during college and worked in a pharmacology lab at the University of Virginia prior to starting medical school.
